Project Overview

Corporate & Commercial Banks was developed for a private UAE banking operator serving businesses with more complex financial requirements than everyday personal banking. The platform brought business account access, payment initiation, beneficiary management, approval workflows, transaction history and cash management into one connected digital experience. Business users could manage financial activity through mobile and web interfaces, while authorised teams handled approvals and administrative tasks through controlled access. Techanic Infotech designed the platform around the way UAE companies manage multiple accounts, payment responsibilities and internal approvals. The focus was to reduce manual banking steps while giving businesses stronger visibility and control over daily financial operations.

Project Idea

The business idea was to provide companies with a digital banking channel that could handle routine financial operations without relying heavily on branch visits or manual communication. The platform was designed for organisations where several people may participate in payment preparation, review and approval.

Corporate banking becomes difficult when finance teams have to switch between separate tools for balances, payment preparation, approval requests and transaction records. Different roles also need different levels of access. A finance executive may prepare a payment, while another authorised person needs to review and approve it before processing.

Techanic Infotech connected these activities through shared account data, role based access and structured approval workflows. Business users could view accounts, create payment instructions, manage beneficiaries and review transaction activity, while authorised users could approve actions according to their assigned permissions.

The product principle centred on visibility, control and accountability. Business users needed accurate financial information, approvers needed enough context before confirming an action, and the bank needed a clear record of activity. The experience therefore kept important information visible while making each financial action easy to trace.

Challenges

The platform had to support different business users, from finance staff handling daily payments to senior employees responsible for approvals. A single company could have several users with different permissions, making access control an important part of the experience. Payment preparation and approval needed to remain understandable without exposing functions that were outside a user's assigned role.

Business account data also required careful organisation across multiple accounts, beneficiaries and transaction types. Companies may manage several payment relationships at once, while finance teams need to distinguish pending instructions from completed transactions. Techanic Infotech structured the account and transaction experience so users could review relevant information without navigating through unrelated banking functions.

Payment activity can also increase around payroll cycles, supplier payment dates and month end financial work. The platform needed responsive account views, transaction searches and approval flows during these periods. Clear status handling was particularly important because finance teams need to know whether an instruction is awaiting approval, being processed or already completed before taking another action.

  • Payment Initiation

Authorised users can prepare payment instructions, enter beneficiary details, review amounts and submit transactions for the required approval process.

  • Approval Workflows

The platform routes payment instructions to authorised users so business transactions can be reviewed and approved according to defined roles.

  • Beneficiary Management

Business users can manage approved beneficiaries, review beneficiary information and maintain payment relationships through controlled banking workflows.

  • Transaction Monitoring

Finance teams can review transaction records, monitor payment states and search account activity to understand current and previous financial movements.

Results

Techanic Infotech delivered a connected digital banking platform across Android, iOS and Web for businesses managing more structured financial operations. The product brought account access, payment preparation, approvals, beneficiary management and transaction monitoring into one environment.

The operational outcome was stronger control over business payment activity. Finance teams could prepare transactions while authorised users handled approvals through defined workflows. The bank also gained clearer visibility into business activity and user actions, making routine support and transaction review easier to manage.

Business customers received a more organised way to handle everyday financial tasks. Finance staff could access account information and prepare payments, while authorised decision makers could review and approve instructions without relying on separate communication channels for every transaction.

The platform provides a foundation for the bank to expand its digital business services across the UAE without rebuilding the core experience. Additional cash management tools, reporting capabilities, account services and payment workflows can be introduced within the existing architecture as business banking requirements grow.
